Skittles is a young, intact female. She is a broken agouti and beige Abyssinian, who is heavily whorled. She was born on June 25, 2007.

She is sister to Fozzie and Hannah, and daughter to Ms. Piggie and Kermit. Ms. Piggie and Kermit were abandoned at the Orange County Animal Shelter by their previous owner with their first litter. Because the owner had not separated the parents prior to birth, Ms. Piggie quickly became pregnant again. Kermit was neutered, and they both are now living happily with their adoptive homes.

Pre-Surrender History

Skittles and her siblings were surrendered to ACR&S by the family who adopted Ms. Piggie and Kermit from the Orange County Animal Shelter when they turned 3 weeks of age. They had socialized the baby pigs extensively, and fed them an excellent diet, but simply did not have room for the accidental litter that they had no idea could happen (since the father had been neutered).

We met them once when the litter was one and a half weeks of age to confirm sexes, and then again at four weeks to pick up the babies for fostering.
